Tar
The Tar is one of the most important instruments of Persian music. With its six strings and warm, resonant sound, it stands at the heart of the Persian classical tradition. The Tar is a symbol of Iran’s rich musical heritage, artistry, and cultural identity.
Setar
The Setar is one of the most delicate and expressive instruments of Persian music. With its four strings and unique playing technique using the fingernail of the right index finger, it produces a gentle, intimate, and reflective sound. It is a central instrument of Persian classical music and a symbol of Persian poetry, spirituality, and musical elegance.
Musicians
Begann 2014 mit dem Erlernen von Tar und Setar und studierte iranische Musik an der Universität für Kunst und Architektur in Shiraz. Seine musikalische Entwicklung setzte er unter der Mentorschaft von Maestro Keyvan Saket fort. Neben Auftritten mit verschiedenen Ensembles leitete er die Qoqnoos Band in Shiraz. Nach seinem Umzug nach Deutschland gründete er die Kian Band, die traditionelle persische Musik mit modernen musikalischen Einflüssen verbindet.
